will be drafting if there are there for them., Gosder Cherilus,

  • Harry Rabbit

No way both defensive tackles last past 8, they are still some of the most valuable commodities in the League. Also, why bother putting links up top if their going to send us to a pay site??

  • David

Not sure what link’s you’re referring to, except maybe the  very top yardbarker site. That’s a banner ad. Otherwise links to other websites should have free content, unless it’s obvious (google adwords, etc). If there is a link that should be free that’s charging, let me know, I’ll delete it in a moment.

In the unlikely event that the two DTs are available at 9, I’d take Ellis over Dorsey based on the Trojan’s man amongst boys performance at the Senior Bowl and Dorsey’s injury questions.

  • Trent

It is highly unlikely that Carolina will be taking a QB with their first pick of the draft. It will be an OL/DL or S.  According to your first 12 picks at #13 Carolina would choose Rashard Mendenhall, RB or Jeff Otah, OT

  • Joe

Dorsey and Ellis both available at #9.  So much for the believability of this mock.

  • StripeHype

Yes, believeable.  Free agents and other things change the perspective of a team and what they need.  Not all teams suscribe to the best available player on the board theory, some actually draft to their needs.  Not every team needs a top 10 DE they will have to pay guaranteed millions to, when they could get a real need filled. That’s the beauty of a mock

  • Joe

No, not believable.  Dorsey will be gone at #3, if not earlier, you can take that to the bank.  Even Ellis being available at #9 is a reach.  If Cincy wants a top-tier DE (and there are just the two), they’d better be prepatred to move up.

  • Joe

Check that typo – DT, not DE.

  • David

Read the blog. I have an article up about the Bengals trading up to possibly #4 in the draft.  As for the rest, it’s all opinion and conjecture. After the Chris Henry debacle yesterday, and Chad Johnson’s ongoing crap, Cincy will be looking at a WR in the second/third round anyway.
