Ok, really poor planning here.
Now we have 3 DT’s active? Harris, Peko and Thornton?
4 CB’s active? Castille, Hall Pope and Jones?
Wow. It could be a “Career High” day for several Giants.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:00 amLost the coin toss. That’s it. Game over.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:01 amWell, willy, this is what happens when you build a football team by committee.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:02 amWow, forced a punt.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:10 amDidn’t take long for the Giants to get that first sack, eh?
September 21st, 2008 at 10:14 amAwesome. How do you have a time out and then false start? CAN WE BENCH LEVI JONES YET? I’m sorry but the poll voters are WRONG WRONG WRONG about the worst guy on the o-line.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:17 amsack.
timeout.
penalty.
sack.
unreal. what have we done to deserve this vomit?
September 21st, 2008 at 10:19 amAnother good defensive start going to waste.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:23 amGiants radio explaining the team is over patting Levi on the back, ML telling him to settle down.
How about showing him a nice comfortable spot on the bench? What will it take? Palmer getting jacked up with a concussion?
September 21st, 2008 at 10:23 amDamn, Perry getting some yards…
September 21st, 2008 at 10:26 amNo doubt, willy.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:26 amNice scramble by Carson…
September 21st, 2008 at 10:34 ammoving the ball…running the ball….FG.
this is a must win. dig.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:36 amNot good enough.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:36 amOn cue, the defense starts to break down…
September 21st, 2008 at 10:43 am7-3 Giants
September 21st, 2008 at 10:46 amwhat a miserable effort. third series for NY and they march it down with the aid of Bengals penalties.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:50 amif the Giants score 7 every 3rd possession they will score 28.
if the Bengals score 3 every other possession they will score 18.
simple math.
Sad thing is that a 28-18 loss would be an improvement…
September 21st, 2008 at 10:52 amWhere’s this Chatman been all his Bengals career? Oh, yeah, hurt…
September 21st, 2008 at 10:55 amCHRIS PERRY!!!! 10-7 Bengals.
September 21st, 2008 at 10:57 amCue the teams breakdown…big return to near midfield.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:01 amThis is embarassing.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:04 amWoke up at the end at least. 10-10.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:06 amholding them to 3 was good but the two 20+ yard plays is unacceptable.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:07 amZimmer better figure on some changes for the second half, look for Bradshaw getting some carries. We already see tow good calls to Boss getting chunks of yards.. need to knock him down off the line…
September 21st, 2008 at 11:08 amYou are talking about covering the TE. We don’t do that in Cincy, remember?
September 21st, 2008 at 11:09 amLevi needs to sit. Alexander is a buffoon. Levi is not prepared to play today. Move Whit over and get someone in at LG.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:14 amHoush!
September 21st, 2008 at 11:15 amI hate Levi Jones.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:22 am13-10 Bengals.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:23 amPerhaps it is time to send Jones, while he still has any value, to an O-line depleted team for a CB?
September 21st, 2008 at 11:29 amA half time lead. OK, its just 3 points but I am convinced that I am still asleep, it’s about 6 am Sunday morning, etc. No way this is happening. That said, if the Bengals want to pull this out, something has to be done about Levi Jones. Either bench him or get his some help because he is getting Carson killed. Perry and Chatman need to keep it up. Housh needs to keep it up. Chad: where R U? Ocho ZERO is more like it. Defense had a few breakdowns but overall giving up just 10 is good so far. Teams needs to step it up.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:30 amI’m down with you on Levi, willy.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:30 amGotta get a FB to assist on the left side, or Carson will be hurt.
The D better be readt for a steady diet of Bradshaw and Ward in the second half. Boss must also get jammed a little better to take him off the timing routes, that or just have White put a lick on him.
Carson also must be ready to run a bit quicker if this rush continues. He needs the outlet look to be attentive when he gets that pressure.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:40 amHad a chance to break it open there with the first possession of the second half and…nope.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:47 amHey, Geathers shows up. Nice to see ya buddy.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:48 amGeathers, another anonymous salary cap anchor. Putting Eli on the carpet must become a priority.
Time for some better playcalls or the Offense will go flat. Run that right side power play.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:52 amCertainly can’t count on the line for any pass protection…
September 21st, 2008 at 11:55 amderailing right now….Giants D has adjusted, Bengals do same-old-same-old.
flat.
September 21st, 2008 at 11:57 amTeams no help.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:00 pm13 all.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:08 pmholding to field goals where they used to give up TD’s.
better.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:11 pm1st on a 3rd and 9? Holy crap.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:12 pmAnd then it all blows up. Need teams or D to score, offense can’t.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:14 pm3rd and 14 and the Bengals give up the first…pathetic.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:24 pmStill holding…16-13 Giants.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:30 pmThey ran a flea flicker?????
September 21st, 2008 at 12:39 pmOh. My. God.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:43 pmTD HOUSH!!! Bengals UP BY 4 with under 5 minutes to play.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:44 pmgoddam that took a lifetime to get on track…preseason is officially over.
the bookies are cringing.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:44 pmBengals in the process of blowing it…
September 21st, 2008 at 12:48 pmGame.
all that is left is a rash of serious injuries to key players.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:57 pmCAN WE FUCKING CUT THAT FAT USELESS ASSHOLE PIECE OF SHIT LEVI JONES NOW???????
September 21st, 2008 at 1:03 pmOh for gawd’s sake, OT? Well, hell, who woulda thunk it, eh?
September 21st, 2008 at 1:06 pmthe manners in which this team continues to emotionally scar me is never ending.
September 21st, 2008 at 1:08 pmThis would be a good time for a pick.
September 21st, 2008 at 1:09 pmSurvived the Jints’ first possession of OT.
September 21st, 2008 at 1:14 pmAwesome. A 3-and-out in OT. We suck.
September 21st, 2008 at 1:15 pmSad. They had so many chances. Write the season off here. They won’t recover from this loss. Two straight seasons in a row, it’s over in week 3. Oh, well, at least this year we can see it.
