I for one am not jumping back onto the Black and Orange bandwagon. It is only one game, and it's easy to get pumped up for one game. The true measure of this team will be to see if they can continue to play the season out with any pride at all. It took Carson getting a broken nose, an elbow injury, Utecht a broken sternum and Rivers a broken jaw to finally piss someone off enough to step up and play this game like it's supposed to be.

The talk so much of "it's a business" as ruined the sport. Everyone is a corporation unto themselves. No one gets out on the field anymore and works like it's supposed to be worked. Whiners, flamoboyance, hold-outs, it's all BS. No, it's not limited to the Bengals, but it certainly is ampliflied by them because of the off-field issues and their losing ways.

Get out there and get pissed off, play mean and nasty, and punch someone in the damn mouth!

Thanks, Jeanne. And yes, they did play well...for about 45 minutes. Then they did their usual nose-dive. "Finishing" has been a theme all year, and something they have failed to do. They just barely avoided failing again today. So while I'm enjoying the win, this team's many fundamental problems remain. But I have a whole bye week coming up to pick at those scabs..tonight I'm just going to have another drink!

Cincinnati deserved that win completely. They out played the Jags on both sides of the ball. Besides the little fight, it was a really well played game all things considering.

Like the Jags, Cincinnati came close to a win so many times this season. You guys were due.
