Bengals starting left cornerback Johnathan Joseph has been placed in injured reserve after aggravating a foot injury that has hobbled him since September.
Joseph, the team’s first-round pick in 2006, struggled with foot problems in 2007 as well.
To replace him, the Bengals signed rookie Simeon Castille to the active roster from the practice squad. Castille, a promising young defender, had been on the roster back in September.
