Bengals Draft Pick Watch: We’re No. 2!
The combination of today’s clubbing by Baltimore and a rare Kansas City victory (over Oakland) has moved the Bengals into the No. 2 slot in next April’s draft. With a best (im)possible record of 5-10-1, the Cincinnati Bengals are guaranteed a top 12 selection.
| Pick | Team | Record |
| 1 | Detroit Lions | 0-12 |
| 2 | Cincinnati Bengals | 1-10-1 |
| 3 | Kansas City Chiefs | 2-10 |
| 4 | St. Louis Rams | 2-10 |
| 5 | Seattle Seahawks | 2-10 |
| 6 | Oakland Raiders | 3-9 |
| 7 | San Francisco 49ers | 4-8 |
| 8 | Cleveland Browns | 4-8 |
| 9 | San Diego Chargers | 4-8 |
| 10 | Jacksonville Jaguars | 4-7 |
| 11 | Houston Texans | 4-7 |
| 12 | Green Bay Packers | 5-7 |
Jacksonville and Houston play tomorrow night. Teams in italic are ones the Bengals still have to play.
Note that I have not figured out all the tiebreakers for teams with the same record, so this is not an exact representation of the current draft order. But tiebreakers will only come into play for Cincinnati if there are more tie games.
