During free agency ’08, the Bengals lost three players — Landon Johnson, Madieu Williams and Justin Smith — and in their final cuts released fan favorites Rudi Johnson and Willie Anderson, as well as Deltha O’Neal and Ahmad Brooks. So, how did this years’ crop of ex-Bengals fare in week 15?
- Poor Rudi Johnson’s march through feline-themed hell continues. The Bengal-turned-Lion had two carries for 2 yards as Detroit dropped to 0-14 and drew even with the notorious 1976 Buccaneers. For the year, Rudi has 76/237/1 on the ground and 12/88/1 through the air, with 1 fumble.
- Willie Anderson started his 9th game for the Ravens, who lost to Pittsburgh Sunday. Anderson has appeared in 11 of Baltimore’s games this season.
- Justin Smith had a quiet day as the 49ers lost to the Dolphins, recording just a pair of tackles. He now has 61 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 passes defensed, a FF and an INT for the year.
- Ahmad Brooks was inactive for San Francisco. He has not played this year.
- Deltha O’Neal had two tackles as New England bested Oakland. On the year, he has 32 tackles, 6 passes defensed and 3 picks.
- Madieu Williams had 5 tackles in Minnesota’s romp over the Cardinals. For the season, he has 31 tackles, 2 picks and 3 passes defensed. Due to an early injury, he has played in only 7 games.
- Landon had one tackle against Denver. He has 14 on the season.
