And Thornton comes through with sack No. 2 on 4th down to bring this "clash" to an end. Bengals win 14-zip.

Three and out...again. 1:53 left, 1 TO for the Browns, will be up to the D to stand up one more time...

Brandon Johnson with the pick this time.

Gradkowski in for the Browns.

Okay...15 yard punt...Browns get the ball at the Cincy 40...3:38 left.

And the O picks up 10, then runs in and out of the clown car for three downs, and finally punts. Pa-thet-ic.

Leon Hall is en fuego! Pick No. 3!

Once again, Browns drive about 50 yards, get into long FG range, then implode with penalties and allowing sacks.

Offense reverts to form, six plays, 15 yards and a punt.

Cleveland starts out strong, running the ball down Cincy's throat, gets to the 27 and the suddenly vulnerable run D is bailed out by Hall's second pick.

14-0 Bengals at the half. Cincy did their best to hand Cleveland a late scoring opportunity, missing a long FG and setting the Browns up in good field position. It didn't help at all that on the 3rd down before the attempt, Bratkowski called a pass with 1:18 left. You run the ball there Bob. That way you can take another :45 off the clock or force the Browns to burn a TO. Dorsey almost got the Browns into FG range before a timely sack by Nduke bailed Sideshow Bob out. C-Bed is over 100 yards in the first. Bengals need to keep running the ball successfully in the second half.

The Fitz-Chenry combo strikes again. 14-0 Cincy.

Benson gets a good run, then fumbles...of course. D still bailing out the O.

Bengals draw first blood with a 50-yard interception return for a TD by Leon Hall. 7-0 good guys.
