C. Trent passes along word from the Bengals that QB Carson Palmer will not require surgery to repair an injured elbow.
An MRI conducted during the last week of the season found the injury had healed on its own, said team spokesman Jack Brennan. He added that the team expects Palmer to fully participate in the 2009 offseason program.
