If we do not bring T.J. back, we'd better at least "franchise" him and then trade him. I know we'll never get the two 1st rounders... I'm not crazy. I do feel that he is worth one 1st and with all the teams interested in him, I'm thinking we would get that. Even if we only got a 2nd rounder (which would be stealing from us), it's better than a supplemental pick we'd get if he simply walked. Plus what is the harm in franchising him and getting something in return for him? It's not like we have anyone else on our squad worth franchising... we definitely don't want to pay Shayne that kind of money! So "franchise" him and then tell his agent to seek a trade!
