If there is one thing this team needs, it's guys who haven't had their souls suck out by this team's losing ways. Cedric came in with something to prove - and ran hard for us. Guys who switch teams take some time to adjust to the new schemes, but you don't come in to a locker room a leader; you have to prove yourself with stellar play. This is why I support the move. And yeah, Carson clearly wanted this, so that doesn't hurt. Again, I might have approached free agency differently, but the bottom line is that the Bengals stepped up here. But the Bengals had a vacant receiver position and why not fill that vacancy with the next top rated FA? and why wait until one of the receivers to get a naggin injury and have to look for someone off the street.. if they select a lesser one the comments would be they should have signed Coles. Remember alot of you wanted TJ back for anything he wanted. My take is that he will be there to help mentor to the young guys and may be exited after a couple of years. Finally, you keep Carson happy and confident and just maybe Chad too. Caldwell will still contribute!!! Simpson can still learn and replace CHad the following year..
