FULLBACK WATCH: On Seattle radio, ESPN’s John Clayton claims Seahawks FB Leonard Weaver may be an Eagle by the end of the day. Former Saints FB Mike Karney didn’t get to St. Louis until last night, and speculation among Rams fans is that the team will make a hard run at him after freeing up $6 million in cap space yesterday by cutting tackle Orlando Pace.

If Weaver bolts, the Seahawks are reportedly poised to sign ex-Raider FB Justin Griffith.

The Bengals have hosted restricted free agent FBs John Kuhn (Packers) and Naufahu Tahi (Vikings), but didn’t make an offer to either one.

Update: The Rams have signed Karney to a three-year, $3.6 million deal.

DRAFT WATCH: Rams GM Bill Devaney was quick to hit the interview circuit to say that Pace’s release doesn’t mean St. Louis will take an OT with the second overall pick. “We have a lot of holes and we still have the luxury of being able to pick the highest-rated player at No. 2,” he said. SI’s Peter King, for one doesn’t believe him and neither do I. In fact, NFL.com’s Pat Kirwan says to expect a run on tackles in the April draft.

BLOG WATCH: Eric Ghiacuic has at least one fan among Bengals bloggers.

Cincy Jungle thinks there’s hope for a quick rebound in Cincy if the team can stay healthy.
