Just a little fun, a little fantasizing…it’s all harmless, right?
6. **projected trade TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (from Cincinnati Bengals): Mark Sanchez, QB, USC. Bucs don’t take a chance on Denver taking Sanchez.
OK, by the trade chart 19 to 6 is a 725 point move, which would require mondo picks from Tampa, including picks in 2010 unless they wanted to pull a Ditka and give us their whole 2009 draft.
19. **projected trade CINCINNATI BENGALS (from Buccaneers): Michael Oher, OT, Mississippi. Bengals get their tackle, with more picks (and a trade) to come.
More? Oh, make my day, Mark!
29. **projected trade CINCINNATI BENGALS (from New York Giants): Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina. In this mock I have the Giants trading for Chad “Ocho Cinco’’ Johnson. Do I think it will happen? Not really. Could it? Maybe — or maybe for Boldin or Edwards. Hmmm …
Awww…you went and blew it. Look, if you’re projecting crazy trades, go all out, man! Don’t give me this wussy “do I think it will happen?” crap. You already posited an impossible Tampa trade, keep it up! Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted.
rolls over, goes to sleep

hey,
I love that kinda talk.
we dont need that high pick lets trade down.
Jefferson
I’m of two minds about trading down. On the one hand, there’s no one really compelling at six and they can probably get just as good a player in the mid-teens for a lot less money. On the other, they already have 11 picks — does getting a 12th and/or 13th really do much more? If they are prepared to wheel and deal in the first three rounds and use some of the picks to move up and grab key players. OK, but that isn’t the usual way things go in Cincy. If we end up with 13 picks all we have are 6-7 guys who won’t make the final roster.
