How about a tear for those coming out in an industry with no draft (like, pretty much all of them) no job (much less one paying $300k right off the bat) and a pile of debt? That’s a challenge in the best of times, and these ain’t them.

Onemancrimewave argues that the Bengals absolutely need to draft a center. Kirk agrees. Well, maybe. But I’m not sure the Center of the Future isn’t already here: Andrew Crummy. The former Maryland standout was seen as one of the top interior linemen, grading out in the same range as Eric Wood this year, before a broken leg sent his stock into the toilet.
Bengals Stripes expects a fullback in the fourth or fifth rounds.
