The 2009 NFL schedule will be announced tonight at 7 Eastern. Ahead of that, a look at strength of schedule for the upcoming season.

Oh, for gawd’s sake. Yes, Chick, I’m sure being an NFL rook is no bed of roses. But it beats the hell out of most college grads’ prospects these days. How about a tear for those coming out in an industry with no draft (like, pretty much all of them) no job (much less one paying $300k right off the bat) and a pile of debt? That’s a challenge in the best of times, and these ain’t them.

WDR is taking its schtick to New York for the draft.

Onemancrimewave argues that the Bengals absolutely need to draft a center. Kirk agrees. Well, maybe. But I’m not sure the Center of the Future isn’t already here: Andrew Crummy. The former Maryland standout was seen as one of the top interior linemen, grading out in the same range as Eric Wood this year, before a broken leg sent his stock into the toilet.

Bengals Stripes expects a fullback in the fourth or fifth rounds.
