Cincinnati Bengals: Madden 2010 Ratings

The Bengals are getting no respect from the folks at EA Sports and are ranked at 67 overall in the newest version of Madden, which qualifies them as the the third worst team in the game. Only the St. Louis Rams (66) and the winless Detroit Lions (65) have lower ratings. While I agree that the Bengals were dreadful last year, I attribute most of that to injuries and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Talent-wise, this team is much better than 30th out of 32 franchises. In fact, I think it’s ridiculous that the Browns (68) and the Chiefs (69) have a higher rating than the Bengals. Cincinnati beat both teams last year, even with Fitzpatrick at quarterback. Maybe T.J. Houshmanzadeh is right and everyone should boycott Madden until the ratings are right. Whatever the case, it should make revenge even sweeter this year when the Bengals go 10-6 and make the playoffs (please, please, please…).

Anyway, here’s  list of the individual rankings. Not that they’re worth anything.
