Well, that would have had the virtue of allowing me to write the season off and find more productive outlets for blogging. Yeah, that’s just the ticket to the playoffs: bring the Vick circus to town. It would make me yearn for the mild days of Ocho Bozo and his “trade me” campaign.

The Bengals should have given Vick a chance like Andy Reid did. Brown basically low balled Vick, offering 2.3 mil for two years. They should have offered him something similar to what the Eagles gave him with incentive laced bonuses. They draft Smith 6th overall then try and low ball him into camp and now they've done the same with Vick. Smith will be worthless to them this year now, if he doesn't get into camp soon. Also, it's time to get off Vick's back, everyone screws up in life, some worse than others. It's what you learn from those mistakes which makes the difference.
