On the bright side, the Bengals can read their press clippings again without fears of getting swelled heads.

D holds but we're down to the final quarter -- and the Bengals aren't showing much life.

Bengals punt. Cincy falling to bits here.

D eaten alive. Texans 28-17.

Aaand the Texans open the second half with a solid scoring drive to make it 21-17.

Oh, there's a 50 yard punch to the nuts of Houston fans. A late pick by Chris Crocker lets the Bengals work down to the 33 with 2 seconds left and Shayne Graham hits from 50 yards. 17-14 Bengals at the half.

50 yard reception by Chad gives the Bengals 1st and goal on the 8...can they punch it in?? YES TD COLES!

D holds, Houston punts, back to our inept O.

Bengals O sucks. At least we have a good punter, tho.

Texans turtle up at the 50: run-run-pass-punt, straight out of the Bratkowski playbook. Back to the Bengals at the 14.

Aaaand the O promptly goes 3 and out. Houston ball at midfield.

14-7 Texans. TD comes on a 2nd and 17. Winning this one is going to be on the penalty-prone offense.

Hall hurt now, too. D getting gashed.

There's the league's leading rusher. 7-7 all.

Odom has an achilles injury. Damn

Aaaand both Peko and Odom are hurt. Well, it was a good season while it lasted...

Houston rams it right down Cincy's throat. 7-0 Texans

Aaaand 2 consecutive penalties on the o-line kill another drive.

Aaaand the D gives up the big pass...

First drive, Bengals move the ball well to about midfield, then commit a holding penalty and go flop. Houston's turn.
