- The Bengals have reached double-digit wins for just the 8th time in franchise history.
- Through 15 games, the Bengals have allowed 254 points. If they hold the Jets to fewer than 30 points, they will break the franchise record for a full 16-game season, 284, set in 1978.
- While 2009 will be the 9th time that Cincinnati has qualified for postseason play, it’s the first time the team has done so without a having a single player named to the Pro Bowl.
The Bengals do not have a winning record against any of the current AFC playoff teams.
