The Bengals have been scouting numerous RB’s this year because of the uncertainty with Cedric Benson and one the of RB’s they have shown interest in is Mario Fannin.

Auburn running back Mario Fannin is generating a lot of interest as a potential later round, third-down type back. Teams love his ability to help out in blitz pick-up and catch the football out of the backfield. Hearing he’s getting long looks from the Patriots, Redskins, Steelers, Dolphins and Bengals – Wes Bunting, National Football Post

I really like Mario Fannin as he is excels on 3rd downs in pass protection and catching the ball. He was somewhat over looked at Auburn this year because of Cam Newton and Freshmen RB Michael Dyer. Fannin has the size to last in the NFL  as an every down runner, but he has never been used that way at Auburn. Fannin is one of those college players that will most likely be a better pro than college player as he only gained 395 yards on the ground on 61 carries and 173 yards on 17 receptions. He is a nice late round option at RB because he has upside to be a good back in the NFL.
