Star Bengals Wide Receiver Chad Ochocinco feels the times are changing in Cincinnati and that his services may no longer be needed. He has came out with tweets pretty blunt like:
“I love Cincy, but coach Lewis is mean to me now so I think I am gone”
and
“He has gone over board to publicly the one guy who loves him I’m so hurt”
Is it an overboard reaction or something more? Well the other day Chad actually asked his followers if the Bengals should draft Georgia WR AJ Green. His personal response to the idea was this:
“He’d be perfect… I’ve done all I can, my time is up.”
I’m not entirely sure what’s going on in Chad’s head right now, but right now I think he may be sincere. If the Bengals move him remains to be a mystery, but it has been assumed by many that he will be gone at some point. The bigger question asked by most being: “What can we even get out of him?”. Maybe this is how Chad see’s himself going out, bashed publicly by his head coach then draft his replacement round 1. Doesn’t seem the way deserving of a guy who played for this team so long; then I remember how acted the 2008 season. And the lack of success this past season with him. Truth is the games is a business, and your childhood favorites retire or get traded, it’s just the norm for professional sports.
