Breaking Down: Clint Boling
In the latest update of the “Breaking Down” series it’s time for the Bengals 4th round pick and former Georgia Bulldog, Offensive lineman Clint Boling. Boling is coming out in the draft as a SR, with 49 career starts, starting the last 38 games of his career consecutively. By looking at the overall draft process Boling is listed as one of the “steals of the draft”. Many “draft guru’s” and sports networks listed Boling as a day 2 prospect (In fact Scouts Inc. ranked him 50th on their big board). Official Combine Stats: Height: 6’5″ Weight: 308 40 Yrd Dash: 5.28 [...]
Breaking Down: Dontay Moch
In this edition of “Breaking Down” it’s time to discuss Bengals 3rd round pick and former Nevada Wolf Pack member, linebacker Dontay Moch. Moch is coming out of Nevada being a 5th year year (23 yrs old by the start of the season). Moch is a 3 time letterman and for the majority of his Nevada tenure he was “the man” on defense. In the draft process he was looked at as a hybrid 4-3 DE/OLB and was seen as an early round talent. Most “draft gurus” listed him as a 3rd round talent, making him the perfect value. Official Combine [...]

A.J. Green on being drafted.
Saw this video and thought this was a great piece for the community to check out. It’s just a video interview in a crowded area so my apologies for the lack of audio clarity.
Ken Zampese Excited About Fresh Start
Recently Bengals QB Coach Ken Zampese had an interview with Cincinnati Enquirer writer Joe Reedy. There is a lot of change going around on that team. I’m sure the biggest reason Zampese is excited about this coaching change has to do with the fact his job wasn’t part of it. But considering Bob Bratkowski is gone and is now replaced with Jay Gruden. James Urban is now the WR’s coach. Carson Palmer doesn’t want to play for the team anymore. T.O. is one and done, then Chad’s future with the team is also up in the air. But with [...]
Everything To Prove: A.J. Green
Bengals 1st round pick A.J. Green and 13 other rookie have been busy with Gatorade. In a collaboration with NFL Films, Gatorade is documenting 14 rookies from their preparation for the NFL Combine all the way to their first NFL game. These videos will touch on a lot of subjects ranging from player’s training regimens to their shenanigans on a night off. Honestly If you are interested in learning about the athletic training process and to see how much more complex it is then 20-30 years ago (when it used to be just a weight room and practice field) it’s worth a check out. [...]

Bengals QBs Go to Work with Gruden (Jon)
Inside sources say that all three Bengals quarterbacks will be traveling to Florida to spend time working out with former Raiders and Bucs head coach Jon Gruden. Jordan Palmer, Dan LeFevour, and newly drafted Andy Dalton will likely be learning the West Coast Offense (WCO) from one of its masters. Gruden’s brother, Jay – the new Bengals’ offensive coordinator – will likely run a WCO very similar to the one that he helped Jon develop in Tampa. While we can be sure that Jay will add wrinkles to the scheme to fit the Bengals’ personnel, it will be good for [...]
The Bengals and Brad Johansen to Part Ways.
Radio play-by-play announcer Brad Johansen and the Bengals after 11 years are now parting ways. Johansen is actually the 2nd longest tenured play-by-play announcer in Bengals history. They have decided to keep the position in house by hiring 700WLW’s UC play-by-play broadcaster; Dan Hoard. Hoard will be the 6th play-by-play announcer the Bengals have had. To those wondering, yes Dave Lapham will still be doing the color commentary. Thanks for your time with the Bengals Brad! It’s been a great 11 years. Let’s hope your replacement will stick with the team like you did. From what’s going on so far, it [...]
