Cincinnati Bengals, Corner Back Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested early Sunday morning for an incident at a Cincinnati area Bar. Jones has been charged with two misdemeanors after the incident.
Jones has already made comments to the media saying that he was charged with “disorderly conduct while intoxicated” and “resisting arrest”. Jones also made the comment that he had not been drinking that night.
“I was with my wife. It was her birthday. There is no reason why I should have got locked up.”
“It don’t make sense, I’m in a neck brace. How am I resisting arrest? I just had surgery.”
“I wasn’t yelling at police. And at the end of the day, I’m the bad guy.”
Court records state that Jones was taken outside of the bar by police making a scene. Then when police attempted to place handcuffs on him, Jones “resisted arrest” by pulling away from the handcuffs.
Jones states that he did not do anything that the police records mentioned. But it’s always hard to believe those who have criminal backgrounds, or in this case backgrounds in “making it rain”. But even with the “Pacman” background it’s hard to believe that a guy who’s 5’10” (in cleats) and in a neck brace is out with his wife at a bar causing a ruckus.
