Rookie Linebacker Dontay Moch broke the broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot during friday nights game versus the Detroit Lions.
The length of time it takes to heal is averaged about 2 months. It is assumed that Moch will now be starting the season on the PUP.
This will really set they young player back as it slows him down on multiple levels. Being injured stops him from seeing serious time in the preseason like he needs. And it stops him from contributing on Special Teams during the regular season.
With Moch going on PUP it opens the door for another young LB to make the roster, for at least a short period of time.
