Here is the Bengals week 4 injury update. I have the list for “who’s dressing” and “who’s not”  from Wednesdays’ practice and now Thursday’s practice info has been updated. Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer & NFL.com reporter Jason La Canfora both confirm the Bengals will be having RB Larry Johnson in for a workout. Johnson, age 31 was a 1st round draft pick in the 2003 NFL draft. He played for 6 years in Kansas City before his tenure ended there on bad terms in 2009. Since then Johnson has played for Cincinnati, Washington and most recently, Miami. Mike Florio of PFT reports that Bengals RB Cedric Benson is filing an “unfair labor practices charge” against the NFLPA. Florio writes: Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Benson has filed an unfair labor practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board against the NFLPA. Benson challenges the August 4 letter agreement on numerous grounds. Cedric is coming up with a few points to why he feels the NFLPA didn’t represent him fairly during the lockout. Bengals WR Jerome Simpson is active for the Bengals’ game today vs. the 49ers despite being part of an ongoing drug investigation and not practicing most of the week. The team released the following statement: Jerome Simpson resumed team activities Friday afternoon and after evaluating his readiness, the coaching staff has determined he will be active for today’s game. Here’s the updates for the Bengals injury reports. Robert Geathers ”Shoulder”  Doubtful A.J. Green ”Toe”  Probable Otis Hudson “Knee” Doubtful Taylor Mays ”Knee ” Probable Dontay Moch “Foot” Out Jerome Simpson  “Non-injury related” Questionable Andre Smith  “Ankle” Probable (Light practice on Friday) Jerome Simpson will most likely not be playing Sunday. Cedric Benson WILL be playing this week. Andre Smith should be fine, it appears to only be a one day thing.

More information is being revealed on this week’s drug bust at the home of Jerome Simpson. Both Anthony Collins and Jerome Simpson were in the house at the time, and were detained by police. Collins released a statement through his attorney today, claiming that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
