Bengals Sign Former Oklahoma State QB Zac Robinson

Earlier today the Bengals waived Practice Squad QB Dan Lefevour and replaced him with another young QB from the same draft year, Zac Robinson.

Robinson has bounced around the country a little after being drafted in 2010 he spent time in New England & Seattle before being cut by Detroit on the 3rd. The Bengals had Zac in earlier today and felt he would be a better fit to command their scout team in practice.

The Bengals actually faced Robinson during their week 1 preseason game vs the lions. Some of you may remember seeing him wearing the ol’ #10 jersey in Detroit. He actually outperformed most of our QB’s in that game, going 2 for 2 with one of those being a touchdown. In comparison Lefevour went 1 for 1 grading out as a 95.8 during that game.

This isn’t a major signing but at least the starting D get’s a better QB to face during practice.
