Earlier today the Bengals waived Practice Squad QB Dan Lefevour and replaced him with another young QB from the same draft year, Zac Robinson.
Robinson has bounced around the country a little after being drafted in 2010 he spent time in New England & Seattle before being cut by Detroit on the 3rd. The Bengals had Zac in earlier today and felt he would be a better fit to command their scout team in practice.
The Bengals actually faced Robinson during their week 1 preseason game vs the lions. Some of you may remember seeing him wearing the ol’ #10 jersey in Detroit. He actually outperformed most of our QB’s in that game, going 2 for 2 with one of those being a touchdown. In comparison Lefevour went 1 for 1 grading out as a 95.8 during that game.
This isn’t a major signing but at least the starting D get’s a better QB to face during practice.
Here’s what Zac tested at during his time at the NFL Combine:
| Ht | Wt | Arm length | Hand size | 40-yd dash | 10-yd split | 20-yd split | 20-ss | 3-cone | Vert | Broad |
