As mentioned before on Stripe Hype, the Bengals had OG Bobbie Williams on a 1 week roster exemption. For Williams to be placed on the active game day roster the Bengals must waive one player from their 53 man roster.

The Bengals have officially made their move to move Williams back to the roster. The Bengals waived young offensive guard & 2010, 5th round draft pick, Otis Hudson.

In his time with the Bengals, Hudson has yet to play a single down in the regular season. After signing his contract in 2010, the Bengals waived Hudson and placed him on the 8-man practice squad. During the 2011 season Hudson has been dealing with nagging injuries, he did make the 53 man roster but failed to make the active game day roster.

It is yet to be seen if Hudson will be moved to the practice squad. With the team parting ways with young O-lineman Reggie Stephens earlier this season, (who made the 53 man roster in 2010 over Hudson) nothing can seem certain. If he does clear waivers, one would assume the Bengals would have to release OT Matt O’Donnell to make room for Hudson.
