Despite a report earlier this week that Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis will not play against the Bengals because of a toe injury that could keep him out four weeks, Lewis hasn’t given up hope on this Sunday yet.
Lewis will try to suit up Sunday, despite a toe injury that forced him to miss practice all week. Lewis is one of the toughest players in the NFL, and it comes as no surprise that he wants to play no matter what. Given the fact that Lewis had to see a specialist about the injury, I suspect he won’t be able to tough this one out.
In other injury news, the Ravens’ WR Lee Evans hasn’t played all year, but may make his debut against the Bengals after practicing all week. Evans is listed as questionable. The backup to LB Ray Lewis, Dannell Ellerbe is also listed as questionable with a thigh injury. The Bengals WR AJ Green is doubtful to play, which means he has about a 25% chance of playing tomorrow. CB Adam Jones is probable, and will probably play as the 3rd cornerback tomorrow.
