CB Adam Jones Will Return Punts When Fully Healthy

Today Cornerback Adam Jones received the ultimate ‘yea’ vote on the possibility of returning punts again from Bengals Special Teams Coach Darrin Simmons. Simmons said: “I don’t want to risk Adam pulling his hamstring right now with the position we are at at corner right now. Whenever he can prove that he’s healthy, then hell yeah we’ll put him back there.” Jones’ groin/hamstring aren’t 100% healthy (he hurt both muscles a few weeks ago), but he has played the past two games at cornerback, including starting last week against the Cleveland Browns. Video of Marvin Lewis Mic’d Up During Bengals-Browns Game

Clipped from: www.nfl.com (share this clip) Click the above image for a great 4-minute video of Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis, who was wired with a microphone during Sunday’s 23-20 win against the Cleveland Browns. Lewis’ defensive mind is clearly shown in the video, as he critiques and comments on the defense far more than he does on the offense. In the first half of the video, Lewis was clearly frustrated with his defense that allowed easy passing touchdowns and had trouble tackling the big Cleveland runningback Peyton Hillis.
