ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the Buffalo Bills have signed WR Stevie to a 5-year, $36.25 million deal that includes $19.5 million of guaranteed money. The team wasn’t going to use the franchise tag on Johnson, and it appeared for awhile negotiations weren’t going smoothly and the Pro-Bowl receiver may leave Buffalo. But now the Bills have their franchise receiver locked up.
Its now being reported that current Rams Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams had a bounty program while he coached 11 years for the Oilers/Titans organization, and was DC from 1997-2000 under Head Coach Jeff Fisher. One has to wonder if Jeff Fischer was involved and he’ll be punished in any way. Williams has now been linked to having bounty programs inTennessee,Buffalo,Washington, andNew Orleans.
