Muckelroy’s Rehab also Progressing

Bengals LB Roderick Muckelroy is also recovering from a torn achilles he suffered at the beginning of last year’s training camp, and hopes to be back on the field by May. If Rey Maualuga is suspended by the NFL for his recent bar fight, Muckelroy could find himself the opening day starter at middle linebacker for the Bengals.

Trent Richardson and Mark Barron to miss Alabama Pro Day

This is very significant to the Bengals, as the team is in desperate need for a runningback and safety, and Mark Barron is the draft’s top safety prospect, while RB Trent Richardson is not only the top RB prospect, but is also regarded as one of the draft’s best overall prospects. Both will likely be gone when the Bengals select at the 17th spot, but never the less, Marvin Lewis and the rest of his coaches will be scouting these players heavily.
