Richard Marshall just signed a three-year, $16 million deal with the Dolphins. This is significant to the Bengals, as the team is trying to re-sign free agent safety Reggie Nelson, who has been linked to the Miami Dolphins, butMarshall’s ability to play both CB and S may lead the team to pass on Nelson and increase the Bengals’ chances of re-signing him. Coming into free agency, Nelson was the most important free agent for the team to re-sign, and the team may be closer to accomplishing that now.
