The Denver Broncos have scheduled a 3 pm EST news conference to announce that QB Peyton Manning has signed his contract to join the team. The contract is a reported 5-year deal worth $96 million and will pay him an annual salary of $19.2 million, the highest average salary of any NFL player. Manning will also wear #18 for the Broncos, the same one he’s worn his entire NFL career. The live announcement can be viewed here.
