Morning Headlines: Bengals Close to Losing Manny Lawson

It was reported last night that the Green Bay Packers had shown interest in free agent LB Manny Lawson, who finished with 52 tackles and 1.5 sacks last season with the Bengals. Now there is news that the division rival Cleveland Browns are interested in bringing in Lawson. The Browns already signed away DE Frostee Rucker, and it now appears the Bengals are about to lose another defensive player who played significant snaps last year. The team would have lost Fanene, Rucker, and Lawson, none of which are stars, but are great glue guys on defense who can do multiple things that helped the Bengals rank 4th in total defense.
