ESPN NFL insider Chris Mortensen is reporting that Bill Parcells will remain retired and not serve as the Saints’ interim head coach after Head Coach Sean Payton’s season-long suspension was upheld.

The Patriots are likely to try to re-sign free agent DE Andre Carter, but aren’t expected to re-sign free agents DT Gerard Warren and DE Shaun Ellis.
