Jan 07, 2012; Houston, TX, USA; Cincinnati Bengals tight end

The Bengals announced the re-signing of TE Donald Lee today. Lee snagged 11 passes for 115 yards as a backup, while also working as a second blocker in two-tight end sets last season.

While most will brush this signing off, Lee showed last year that it can be those 2nd and 3rd-string players that ultimately help you accomplish your goals. Last season on a Bengals team that clinched a playoff berth by the slimmest of margins, Lee was a factor in two of the Bengals’ biggest wins of 2011.
