Are Bengals Still Pursuing Jerome Simpson?

 

 

 

The Rams are continuing to pursue Bengals free-agent WR Jerome Simpson. There are also at least three other teams pursuing the talented but troubled WR. Marvin Lewis has left the door open for Simpson to return to the team, and one has to assume the Bengals are one of those three other teams interested in re-signing him. Simpson showed flashes of being at the very least a solid #2 receiver. He’s struggled with drops and the law, but if someone’s willing to give him another chance(other than the Bengals), then hopefully he gets just that. Because of his drug trafficking felony, there’s a good chance he’ll face some sort of suspension in the upcoming NFL season.
