An innovative and successful head coach of the Cleveland Browns who moved on to become founder and head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, and former football coach at Massillon Washington High School from 1932 to 1940, Brown will be recognized and remembered with his “Hometown Hall of Famer™” plaque during a special ceremony at 1:30 p.m. ET today, at the Massillon Washington High School auditorium, where the plaque will live permanently to serve as an inspiration for the school’s students and athletes. Jeff Thornberry, Massillon native and Massillon Washington High School alumnus, will present the historic plaque. Mike Brown, Paul’s son and president of the Cincinnati Bengals, will be on-hand to accept the plaque in his father’s memory.
