The Browns appear willing to pass on Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill and may be now setting their sights on Oklahoma State QB Brandon Weeden.

The decision by the Redskins to move WR Niles Paul to the TE position could mean that starting TE Chris Cooley could be on his way out. After being one of the league’s most consistent TEs, Cooley has been plagued by injuries and inconsistent QB play te last few seasons in D.C., and a change of scenery might be best for everybody.

Rams OT Jason Smith took a big pay cut to stay in St. Louis after he’s done nothing to live up to being the #2 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. His new salary will cut his pay to $4.5 million.

The Atlanta Falcons have opted against hosting this year’s HBO series Hard Knocks.
