After selecting Robert Griffin III with the number 2 overall pick, the Redskins selected their second quarterback of the draft 100 picks later in Kirk Cousins from Michigan St. Cousins will serve as a backup to RGIII and will develop under HC Mike Shanahan. Cousins will be a project, but he has NFL quarterback size at 6’3″, 214 lbs.
