It looks as though the Cincinnati Bengals had one of the best drafts of any team in the NFL in 2012, and fans are riding high on the potential for continued success. If the players selected turn out as good as people think, they are going to have a tremendous core to build with for the future. Not all draft picks pan out, however, and sometimes guys who weren’t drafted at all wind up being better players than their more sought-after counterparts. The Bengals have signed 15 undrafted free agents (UFDA) at this point, and with the expanded rosters, these guys will have a real chance to prove that they belong in the NFL, and land a spot on the roster.

There have been some really good players that weren’t drafted. Wes Welker, Antonio Gates, Arian Foster, James Harrison, and Kurt Warner, along with a host of other great players were all skipped over during the draft proccess and signed as UDFA’s. This year’s crop will surely have some guys who make teams, then make an impact on the league. The Bengals have signed guys who will get every chance to show what they can do, and hopefully, can fulfill their dream, and be on of those impact guys. I’ll take a look at some of them now.

You guys probably picked up a gem in Tony Dye. We were distraught that he had such an injury in a year where he had a real chance to prove he was going to go in the top 4 rounds. I think he’s a steal, but I’m biased.

We wish him all the best in Cincy. GO BRUINS!!!
