An extension between the Bills and Pro Bowl RB Fred Jackson appears very close. Jackson was leading the NFL in rushing last year prior to his leg injury that cost him the remaining 6 games.

Big 12 coaches are skeptical of Browns QB Brandon Weeden’s poise under pressure.

NFL Films’ Greg Cosell also noted a lack of poise under pressure in his film study of Weeden. He’ll have to adjust quickly in the toughest defensive division in football that is the AFC north.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former LSU QB Jordan Jefferson.

Keith Rivers filed a grievance against the Bengals last season in a dispute over being placed on the non-football injury list as a result of his wrist-surgery which cost him the entire 2011 season.
