Who Dey Jr. here. I was lucky enough to be able to sit down & talk with the newest Bengals Right Guard and 2012 1st round NFL Draft Pick, Kevin Zeitler in a Stripe Hype exclusive two-part interview. Here’s a a link to part 1, and now for the conclusion of our interview:
WDJ: It’s been said that you will most likely be the opening day starter at RG. Do you feel ready and prepared as of now to start in the NFL?
KZ: Even though that’s been said nothing is given. I have to go earn that spot over the summer and through the camps. I have a lot of work to do before I would say I’m ready. I’m just gonna do everything I can everyday to make sure I can help the team in anyway that I can.
WDJ: Do you see yourself as versatile, could you be comfortable playing Center, Left Guard, or even Tackle should the need arise?
KZ: I do see myself as versatile. Since I only played right guard in college I’m naturally inclined to that position but I’ll be working on every position so if the situation comes up I’ll be ready.
WDJ: If you were able to play any other position on the field, what position would that be?
KZ: I think I would give DT a try just cause of my body type and the aggressive nature of the position.
WDJ: Do you have any personal goals for your rookie season?
KZ: Only to help the team in anyway that I can and to improve everyday.

I am a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. I have been for as a long as I can remember. 9 times out of 10 I should be able to answer any question about the Bengals. I pride myself on the ability to judge talent & predict who has the best chance to the make the team. I am also a avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Crew, & Chicago Bulls.
I originally attended Tiffin University on a small football scholarship. At the age of 21 in 2003, I coached football at Chillicothe High School as the Varsity Assistant Offensive Line Coach, Junior Varsity Co-Head Coach, Junior Varsity Quarterbacks Coach, Junior Varsity Defensive Coordinator, and Junior Varsity Punt Return Team Coach. 2 Years later at the age of 23, I tried out for & made a Semi-Pro Football team in Lima, OH called the Allen County Buckeyes.
