NFL Quarterback Power Rankings: Memorial Day Edition

Being Memorial Day weekend, we all give our thanks to all of the men and women who serve in the armed forces, both past and present. I will now give tribute to the quarterbacks of the NFL by ranking the players who will start for each team in the 2012 season. Since the quarterback is the most watched position in all of football and the face of their respective franchise, this seems to be a good time to rank them, being that our troops are a large part of the face of this country.

Let’s start out at the bottom of the list.

Let me start by saying that it is impossible to put a rookie quarterback in power rankings without ever having taken an NFL snap. Will they turn out to be Peyton Manning, or Ryan Leaf? This is why I have the quartet of rookies ranked at the bottom of the list. I feel that these players have lots of potential, but until I see them in an actual NFL game, I simply cannot rank them above any veteran quarterback.
