Not all of these players were drafted, many coming from free agency. Since the offseason is slow right now here is a list of all the names of players coming from these schools.
GEORGIA – WR A.J. Green, DT Geno Atkins, OG Clint Boling, TE Orson Charles, DE Robert Geathers & OT Dennis Roland.
FLORIDA – DE Carlos Dunlap, DE Derrick Harvey & FS Reggie Nelson.
ALABAMA – CB Dre Kirkpatrick & OT Andre Smith.
KENTUCKY – DE DeQuin Evans & LB Micah Johnson.
AUBURN – DT Pat Sims.
SOUTH CAROLINA – OG Travelle Wharton.
TENNESSEE – CB Jason Allen.
ARKANSAS – DE Jamaal Anderson.
OLE MISS – RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
MISSISSIPPI STATE – TE Donald Lee.
LOUSIANA STATE – OT Andrew Whiteworth.
The odd thing is, with the exception of three or four players, most of these guys are starters or otherwise well-known commodities around the league. Even stranger is the fact that 7 out of 13 listed defensive linemen currently on the Bengals roster are from the SEC.
