Below is my top 10 fantasy football quarterbacks for the 2012 season. I am basing all statistics on standard fantasy football scoring (1 point for 25 yards passing, 4 points for a passing TD, -2 points for an INT, 1 point for 10 yards rushing, 6 points for a rushing TD). Each player will receive a rank, a brief explanation, and a 2012 scoring prediction.

10. Matt Ryan,Atlanta Falcons

They call him Matty Ice. Ryan has been one of the most consistent fantasy quarterbacks in recent years. He has great weapons on his side of the ball in Roddy White, Julio Jones, and Tony Gonzalez. Working with the same trio for yet another year will only help Ryan continue to produce the steady numbers that he has in the past.

2012 Prediction: 4,262 yards passing, 29 TD’s, 11 INT’s – 264 points

9. Tony Romo,Dallas Cowboys

Although Romo has caught some flack about his inability to get the Cowboys a playoff win, Romo still puts up fantastic fantasy numbers every season. He is a solid, reliable starter every week. He still has some of the best weapons available at his disposal including Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, and Jason Witten. I expect another solid year from this veteran quarterback.

2012 Prediction: 4,288 yards passing, 31 TD’s, 12 INT’s – 271 points
