5. Gary Burley, Cincinnati Bengals, 1976-1983

Gary Burley was drafted in the Third Round of the 1976 draft. Burley started his career in a big way with 10 sacks in his rookie season. Burley lined up at Left End opposite Coy Bacon at Right End. They wreaked havoc on opposing quarterbacks. The Cincinnati Bengals 1976 defense is one of the greatest defenses in team history. They had an incredible pass rush on the line and Burley was a big part of that. He got injured and only played in 4 games in 1982. He would play one more season in Cincinnati before finishing his career in Atlanta in 1984.

By the Numbers: 8 seasons, 105 games played, 324 total tackles, 31.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 safety
