There is one issue facing all of the teams in the league right now, and that is rookies having the most dangerous combination known to young men. That is free time and a lot of money. I suggest to team leaders that they come up with as many events that involve good clean fun. The media will be starving for stories during this time, and a good arrest story will do wonders to pass the time.

I can’t imagine what it’s like for these guys who are probably exhausted mentally as well as physically due to all they’ve been through with the draft and mini-camps. It is human nature to exhale when they get home, and think they will go to one last party or hang out with the old gang one last time. This is where they have to start growing up, and pulling away. The focus should be on the amazing new experience they are about to begin instead of focusing on the end of the old days. Be smart.
