3rd: New York Jets-8-8

The Jets offense is a unit waiting to explode and not in a good way. They are wanting to go back to the ground and pound and they need too. Mark Sanchez just hasn’t developed into a very good QB and it will be even harder too with the pressure of Tebow waiting right behind him. How are things going to go when Sanchez has that first 4 INT game? They have talented players on offense but how long can Holmes go before causing trouble? Can that offensive line play like it did a couple years ago? Can Sanchez be a capable QB? I’m not so sure on any of those.

Not only is the offense in trouble, the defense has been in decline. They brought in a little youth with the drafting of Quinton Coples and Demario Davis to rush the QB. However outside of that they didn’t add a lot of help to this D. They brought in two aging SS’s in Yeremiah Bell and Laron Landry to battle for that starting spot. Neither is likely to be an impact player. So unless Rex Ryan has a miracle in him, this is a middle of the pack team.

I think you nailed it. I had the same records picked except Miami was 6-10. Barring any major injuries the records you picked may well be what we see at the end of the regular season. Bills should make the playoffs. I hope the Jets end up worse than 8-8. I would love to see a circus atmosphere in New York and Rex Ryan’s big mouth spewing excuses.
