4th: Miami Dolphins-5-11

This offense will go as the passing game goes. The running game was good last year with Bush and Thomas and should only be better with another weapon like Lamar Miller coming via the draft. They also got a stud RT in Jonathan Martin in the 2nd round. But who starts at QB and who does he throw to? Chad Ochocinco was acquired via free agency but does he have anything left in the tank?  Whether it be Moore, Garrard, or Tannehill, the team will only go as far as they can take it.

This defense was really good last year. They were 6th in the league in points allowed and will likely have to carry this team again. They drafted a pass rusher to play opposite Wake in Oliver Vernon. They also added some really good CB’s depth in Richard Marshall. If this team is to go anywhere this year, the defense will have to carry them, and also carry a little hope that their QB, whoever it may be, can help with their load.

I think you nailed it. I had the same records picked except Miami was 6-10. Barring any major injuries the records you picked may well be what we see at the end of the regular season. Bills should make the playoffs. I hope the Jets end up worse than 8-8. I would love to see a circus atmosphere in New York and Rex Ryan’s big mouth spewing excuses.
