Review: Team A- Arian Foster (1st round), Adrian Peterson, (2nd round), Roddy White (3rd round), Miles Austin (4th round), Matt Ryan (5th round), Aaron Hernandez (6th round) (1st ranked team overall after the 6th round)
As some of you might be able to tell, at this point I’ve started hammering some of these teams for what I see as early round mistakes. Starting with Team D’s gamble of 3 RB’s in a row has proven to be a mistake now that Forte appears destined to be mini-camp since Michael Bush is more than capable of being the Bears starting RB if needed. Also I don’t think the QB-TE pick in the first two rounds weren’t work out as well as some might think for Team E, and you can’t get any better selections at those positions in the first two rounds than Rodgers and Gronkowski. Despite the big games both players will this season, I don’t see them consistently putting up numbers that will carry your team to a championship. Other than that I think the rest of these teams are pretty close in potential with Team J being a sleeper away at RB from being championship contenders with what could be the best WR core in the league with Steve Smith, Dwayne Bowe, and Steve Johnson. Now let’s see how the “championship” rounds of this mock draft play out.
