Statistically speaking, every year since 1996 six of the twelve play-off teams from the previous year return to the post season while the other six do not. More accurately, the number is 6.14, but more importantly, no fewer than five teams have repeated during the same time period. One may look at the last year’s play-off teams and consider it difficult to only see six of them reclaiming past glory, but we must remember that numbers don’t lie. The most nefarious man in Norwood is once again providing guerrilla editorials and insight on the Cincinnati Bengals just as he has for the past decade. An occasional realist and free-lance cynic, he looks forward to the pre-season, despises fantasy footballers and keeps a can of Monster Energy on hand to handle most situations. Question the reactionary, react to the revolutionary.... viva la gutter.
